THIS WEEK: KORNOG

MARIAN BRADFIELD
and her NEW Band

Originally formed in 1980 by ex-Battlefield Band singer and bouzouki player Jamie McMenemy, Kornog were the original European Folk Supergroup.
Jamie, and his 3 Breton associates are still setting the highest standards of playing exciting celtic music from Ireland, Scotland and Brittany.
They played a fantastic gig here about 6 years ago and this will be another unmissable show. Another full house expected. Come early.

KORNOG

Folk Club favourite, Waterford girl Marian Bradfield returns on Saturday 8th June.
Regarded as one of the brightest lights on the local songwriting scene, Marian brings a new Band line-up this time.
They'll be playing lots of Marian's trademark tender, wry and bittersweet love ballads, and up tempo folk rock songs with attitude.
Marian's musical abiltiy and warm rapport with her audience always ensures a great night's craic.

Downpatrick Folk Music Club gratefully acknowledges financial assistance and support from The Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Down District Council, Awards for All Lottery Fund and BT Northern Ireland.
